The Cynic is a conservative turned libertarian-conservative.

After years of being a libertarian-conservative, it is impossible not to be cynical.

Being cynical, however, does not make me a cynic.

Watching candidates make promises that are never kept will make everyone cynical.  But it is not until the attitude is expanded to virtually every other part of life that one may be declared a cynic.

On these pages, the Cynic will examine issues—politics, sports, science, business, education, etc.—all with a particular bent that is resoundingly cynical.
